THEFOZ is a TARD! They did bring problems, like std’s, single parents and idiots like you who would rather get high than fight. What if John Hancock was out gettin high instead of tossin tea off those boats? Or if Dwight Eisenhower Tuned out on lsd in college? If you went to war you’d be dead in a week! Get a job!

Memorable song, quite haunting and interesting lyrics, blaming parents for the next generation’s drug abuse. Great voice and a strong presence up front from Grace.

  6. mctalks Says:

yeah ” brains “…..dumbass pisses away an entire career because he can’t keep his ignorant political views to himself.

    BRILLIANT……..

  7. mctalks Says:

some cool music, but a worthless generation. Clearly Americas worst. Too bad more of them didn’t practice birth control so we wouldn’t have to deal with the kids they raised in their image.

a tragic period in American history.

well… since I don’t have to reply to republican bullshit I can spend a word or two for this songs…
White Rabbit… hallucinating voice lines… truly psychedelic music… a TRUE masterpiece of ’60, and Somebody to Love is an all time classic… both with the awesome voice of Grace… wonderful!

Now I ask… where’s this music nowadays? How sad to think that ’60 and ’70 are long gone!

What makes Grace Slick the coolest woman alive? I admire Grace Slick for being “natural” not “plastic”. I respect her for having many talents. She is highly intelligent, beautiful, truly creative and original. She had an amazing talent to be able to get along with the guys in the band and in general. She was in situations that another woman would panic in and she kept her cool. She slept with a few guys because she wanted to, NOT to get her the job. Her “voice” got her the job. I respect that!

Hey BannedCinema, Let me give you some examples of who I’m talking about: Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Tori Spelling, and many more! Name something that they are famous for. Please list a song, movie, tv show etc? By the way I believe in busting your ass to get somewhere. The “casting couch” in Hollywood should be caved in by now. Any “product” including “human being” must be good to begin with or the packaging will not matter. People will see through the facade.

  24. BannedCinema Says:

What? No. Dude, I’m not agreeing with you. Just because you don’t like the way a particular artist or genre is advertised doesn’t give you license to insist that they are untalented.

  25. BannedCinema Says:

But that type of thing wasn’t selling at the time. Sex was always popular, but it didn’t become a huge marketing tool for artists in and of themselves until the eighties, really. However, you can see evidence of other forms of advertisement and cliche in this video: the bubbles; psychedelic Technicolor; hippie-esque fashion. You are failing to make a distinction between advertisement and artistic talent.
