And please note the technical difference between antideppressants, both Selective seritonin reuptake inhibitors(SSRI), and monoamine oxidization inhibitors(MAOI), and antipyschotic drugs, very distinct. The technical different between psychedelic and hallucinogen is very distinct as well. – Huxley was a brillant author exploring pertinent questions I believe.

A good read to further explore current research in the United States on Pyschedelics would be Rick Strassman. The spirit molecule, for example, discusses the intersection between endogenous DMT, psychedelic use, and mental illness such as schitzophrenia, as well as how stress impacts your brain and how DMT is metabolized.

huxley ?? that jackass, who wrote that man is to be a vassal of a technocratic class?? who wanted to turn ppl into guine pigs, im sure he never touched the stuff, the was pushing it for the masses, see LSD makes you more suggestible ppl

  12. jasonphillipstv Says:

We first went to indigenous shamans for help, and it was antipsychotics from big pharma that are allowing him to heal and function in society. Weed and LSD will not make you crazy, I am just warning people who have a well documented history of mental illness in the family – different from the general population!

  13. jasonphillipstv Says:

I never used to believe that weed could trigger psychotic episodes, until it happened to my friend. He would be fine for hours, until he smoked a joint and then he would instantly change! Antidepressants are tools created by big pharma, I agree. But certain antipsychotics are beneficial for people who do not want to live their lives being controlled by the distortions they are unable to rid themselves of through other means.

  14. jasonphillipstv Says:

I know many many people who have taken LSD countless times and would agree it is a benefit to the vast majority of the population if they are ready for it. I HAVE researched very deeply into the medical literature, because my close friend was diagnosed as schitozphrenic after consuming large amounts of various psychedelic and other recreational drugs.

Look for the actual evidence supporting mental illness connections with LSD and Mescaline. There is very little evidence and many studies were done when it was legal. Still I suppose it’s a risk but I guarantee one time will not make you insane. LSD in small doses is great and many prominent people have used it that way. Large doses are usually done at parties. Use responsibly.

  17. jasonphillipstv Says:

There may be positive benefits from responsible use, but there is a danger of permanent physiological damage to the brain. There is no genetic marker test yet to determine whether or not you are likely to suffer permanent symptoms of mental illness. Any time you use a powerful drug like LSD there is a risk, you must evaluate the risk/benefit. If you have a history of sciztophrenia or mental illness in your family, most certainly you should avoid consuming these substances.

  18. jasonphillipstv Says:

In some cases predisposed individuals may never develop symptoms, but it seems some predisposed users of likely would have experienced syptoms at some point in their lives, but LSD appears to catalyse their appearance.

  19. jasonphillipstv Says:

For a very very miniscule percentage of the population, there is evidence that using psychedelic drugs including LSD-25 can induce psychotic symptoms, drug induced psychosis, and permanent schitzophrenia. Causality is not determined, but evidence strongly points to the fact that the LSD does not in fact cause the episode of mental illness, merely unmasks a pre-existing condition in the brain for people who are medically or genetically predisposed to such an occurence happening.

  20. jasonphillipstv Says:

For the vast majority of the population, there appears to be virtually no negative physiological effects, especially when the user does not experience a bad trip because they were not afraid to let go, based on extensive medical literature. LSD is very safe for the majority of the population to consume in regulated dosages with a sitter present.

I have done LSD once- it was mindblowing but I’ll wait a while before doing it again. I think people mainly only get bad trips hen they are afraid to let go and fight against it because theyre scared. Does LSD actually do any physical harm becuse Ive never actually heard of it…anyway, its a great experience.
